About Sanskriti

Sanskriti Deva is an Indian-American quantum engineer and STEM accessibility activist currently studying computer engineering at North Carolina State University. At 17 she made history when she became the youngest elected official on the United Nations (UN) Association National Council on which she still serves representing Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Puerto Rico. 

As an emerging leader in quantum engineering, Sanskriti has already made her mark by educating over 10,000+ students from the elementary school to PhD level in quantum computing. She recently did a TEDx talk on what she's learned from that experience. Her dedication however extends beyond the classroom, having led numerous initiatives to democratize STEM access, all earning her international recognition including a prestigious feature in Times Square and Lifetime Membership with the American Association of Sciences amongst other awards.

Sanskriti is also prolific public speaker and she has talked about STEM accessibility, experiences a woman in STEM, international technology policy, and quantum computing.
